ക്യാമ്പിനു ശേഷം നടന്ന അനുമോദനയോഗം പതഞ്ജലി ആയുർവേദിക് മാനേജിംഗ് ഡയറക്ടർ ഡോക്ടര ജ്യോതിഷ് കുമാർ ഉത്ഘാടനം നടത്തി . ചെങ്ങന്നൂരിൽ നടന്ന ഓൾ കേരള കളരിപയറ്റ് ഇനത്തിൽ ഗോൾഡ് മെഡൽ നേടിയ ആരിഫ , ഓൾ കേരള കുങ്ഫു ഇനത്തിൽ ഗോൾഡ് മെടൽ നേടിയ രെഹന ഫർഹാന , സംസ്ഥാന ഷട്ടിൽ ബാഡ്മിന്ടൻ ചാമ്പ്യൻ ഷിപ്പിൽ മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ചവച്ച സാന്ദ്ര സുരേഷ്, വിനയകുമാർ എന്നിവര്ക്ക് പുരസ്കാര വിതരണവും, കാഷ് അവാർഡ് വിതരണവും നടന്നു .തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട കളിക്കാര്ക്കും കുട്ടികൾക്കും ഉള്ള ഷട്ടിൽ ബാഡ്മിന്ടൻ കിറ്റുകൾ ശ്രീ ഇസ്മിൽ വട്ടംകുളം വിതരണം ചെയ്തു . ശ്രീ ജ്യോതിവാസൻ നൂനിയിൽ , രാഗം സുരേഷ് , സാബു കുറ്റിപ്പുറം എന്നിവർ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു .ശ്രീ മുന്നു എടപ്പാൾ ആശം സകൾ പറഞ്ഞു .

6.30 നു നടന്ന ക്ലബ് മെമ്പർ മാരുടെ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഫോട്ടോ എടുക്കുകയും തുടർന്ന് എടപ്പാൾ ഇൻഡോർ ഷട്ടിൽ ബാഡ്മിന്ടൻ ക്ലബ് ചാമ്പ്യൻ ഷിപ്പും നടന്നു.ക്ലബ് ചാമ്പ്യൻ ഷിപ്പിൽ റമീസ് / പ്രമോദ് ജോഡിയെ തോൽപ്പിച്ച് അഫു / നൌഫൽ ടീം വിജയികൾ ആയി .

    Rameez -Noufal , Hafu- Riyas, Praveen -Rajeev, Jyothivasan- Pradheep  advanced to the semifinals of the Club doubles league championships held at Edappal indoor on 9/11/2013 The semifinals between Rameez-noufal  Vs  Praveen-Rajeev  and   Hafu-Riyas Vs Jyothivasan-Pradheep  will be played today. The finals also will be played today.

29/08/2013- BEST WISHES to our Veteran players Surendranadh and Suresh who is proceeding to Kottayam for the Kerala State Championships at Kottayam. Surendranadh (Malappuram) willbe playing against Kozhikode in his first match tomorrow 9.30 am.Surendranadh and Suresh (Malappuram) will be playing against Eranamkulam in their first doubles match tomorrow evening 7 pm.

25/08/2013: Sudheesh and Raghu became the August month Club champions of Edappal shuttle badminton club after beating Afsal and Riyas ( 21-14,21-16).Jyothivasan & Sajith, Babu& Pradeep shared the third place. Sri Raghavan Sukapuram (Ettan sukapuram) distributed the prizes.Spavo Sports Edappal sponsored the event and the rolling trophy.Here onwards there will be a league  tournament every second saturday.Teams can register their name now onwards and only 16 teams will be allowed to play.

UTHARA placed second in Kerala state junior badminton tournament and will represent Kerala in National tournament .Where Vinaykumar fought very hard to reach quarter finals of State badminton tournament. Edappal badminton wishes them  a bright badminton future. In a small function held at Edappal indoor stadium, Vinay kumar was given a warm reception from the club members. 

29/06/2013- News :Sandra suresh and Meethu advances to semifinals of under 15 girls doubles. Sandra suresh s singles  ended in quarter finals. Under 13 boys event Vinay advanced to quarter finals. Anjun and Amal reached quarter finals. Amal also qualified for the next round matches in under 15 singles event.

29/05/2013- Mustafa and Manoj win the taluk level shuttlebadminton tournament held at Edappal Indoor on 29/6/2013 beating Afu and Riyas.

26/05/2013: Third seed PV Afu and Riyam of Edappal indoor dispatched Sudheesh and Raghu of Pottur  21-16, 18-21, 21-18 to lift the Club champions trophy of Edappal indoor Shuttle badminton club for the first time here at Edappal indoor stadium on sunday . The Changaramkulam players took 47 minutes to beat her opponents who had ousted the top seeds  earlier.

The total tournament got a roaring reception from the home crowd. Riyas got his forehand smashes going and then Afu cleverly employed drop shots to progress. Sudheesh and Raghu looked jittery at the start and at the halfway mark in the first game. 

Sudheesh and Raghu marched to final after beating State player Rafeeq and Ratheesh  where Afu riyas beated the star Muthukka and team changaramkulam.

Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by the london based NRI and Businessman Sri. Chandranpillai. Sri. Ragam suresh , Jyothivasan Nooniyil, Sri Muthu and Surendranadh distributed the prizes.

19/05/2013- Advanced one day doubles shuttle badminton coaching clinic started at 6.30 am and finished at 2.30 pm. Film star/ serial artist Sri.Sabu inaugurated the function .Various badminton techniques,strategies planning, footwork, fast steps, doubles team player positions, service positions, service techniques, various shots, early hitting, player movements etc are few of the lessons covered during the training. Edappal Indoor & Astronomy club is conducting a telescopic astronomy study camp called  “ Ayurgreen Expedition to Space’ at Edappal joining with the famous  Ayurvedic Ayurgreen Hospitals. The camp’s activities have a healthy balance between theoretical and practical knowledge while all sessions aim at being interactive, some such as ‘Space Around Us’, ‘Space Demonstration’ and ‘Observational Astronomy’ allow participants to actively engage with the various concepts being handled ,while the  documentary /Cenema session will take the participats to a virtual  tour to the space ,stars, galaxys , moon etc..
The basic method of the camp is  ‘Joy of Learning Life Sciences’“Apart from the sessions there will be a quiz programme in between and participants will be given instant prizes. The camp starts at 6 Pm  on April 27^th and 28^th at Ayurgreen campus kavilpady ,Edappal.  Leo mobiles Edappal lifted the Edappal indoor and shuttle badminton club trophy with an interesting final aginst United business group.2 national level players and 8 state players, 12 district level teams participated.National level players played for Palekkat furnitures Edappal,leomobiles Edappal and Delux spots maranchery.Teams from Karnataka, Kannur, Payyannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram,Eranamkulam and kottayam were also played. The ladies team from Malappuram played a wonderful match to inaugurate the trounament.

To provide facilities for the playing indoor games .

To promote and encourage the game of badminton by holding tournaments, exhibitions and championships; organising competitive play in County and District leagues and any other means to be determined by the management and the general interest.

To provide social and other recreational facilities for its members.

3. MEMBERSHIP

The Club shall consist of the following classes of members. The membership fee is only for using the indoor stadium and the club facilities. Private ownership - Assets and property belonging to an individual and any classes of members does not have any right on the land or the assets. The membership fees are non refundable.

 MANAGEMENT MEMBERS: Management members are those have been appointed in accordance with  and who shall pay the current entrance fee and the current subscription. Management members manages overall activities of the club.

PATRON MEMBERS: Patron members are those who have an interest in the game of Badminton and wish to support the social activities of the Club.

HONORARY MEMBERS: The management shall have the power to elect a member as an Honorary member of the Club without payment of any further annual subscription or any person who is not a member of the Club without payment of any entrance fee or annual subscription, who, in the opinion of the Committee, has rendered services to the Club or to the game of Badminton.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP/INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP: A company / hospital / bank /  institutions on submitting an application in the prescribed form on paying the subscriptions  as may be fixed by the management. Court reservation ,separate court and other additional facilities will be provided.Add-on membership facility available.

VIP MEMBERSHIP: VIP members are those above  the age of 18 years at the start of the season on  and who have been elected in accordance with the Rules and who shall pay the membership fee  and current annual subscription. VIP members will be provided with separate court, entrance and facilities including court booking.Add-on membership is available for kids and family in a nominal rate.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP: Membership is initially for one year and shall pay the annual subscription and usage fee.Add on memberships are allowed in a nominal rate.

NRI MEMBERS : NRI members are those who are staying abroad, are not able to enjoy frequent use of the Club's facilities. Upon application, the management (at its own discretion) may vary the terms and accept a reduced entrance fee and annual subscription.The NRI members will get the VIP facilities including the court booking facility.

ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP:  Membership is initially for one year and shall be renewed up on the availability .Monthly fee and usage fee is applicable. The membership is renewed only up on availability of court.
NB:Special discount is available for the players who participated  Block level/district level/state level tournaments.

STUDENT MEMBERS: Special subscriptions are available to students under the age of 18 involved in full time education and dependent on a grant. Special discount is available for the young players who participated the school/college/district /state level tournaments.


DAY MEMBERS/CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Clubs can use the courts on non peak hours during working days on discounted rates.

NB:PATRON and HONORARY members will be invited to all important functions of the club.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS

The annual subscriptions are due on 1st of January each year.. Arrangements may be made to pay the subscription in instalments.The usage fee shall be paid monthly or yearly.

5.  NON PAYMENT

Any member failing to pay subscriptions by the 31st December shall  pay penalty. He or she, may, at the discretion of the management  and upon payment of all arrears of subscriptions and fees, be re-admitted to membership without payment of a further entrance fee.

6. RESIGNATIONS

A member may resign membership by giving notice to the Membership Secretary. This notice will take effect with in 15 days after receiving the resignation. 

7. MISCONDUCT

It shall be the duty of the Committee if, at any time, they shall be of the opinion that any member has offended against the Rules of the Club or has been guilty of conduct rendering the member unfit to be a member, or invite, by letter, any such person to withdraw from the Club within the time specified in such letter.
In default of such withdrawal the management shall have the power to expel the member, but before so doing, the Management Secretary shall give the person 14 days' notice to inform the member of the complaints made.
No member shall be expelled without first having had an opportunity of appearing before the management committee.

8. THE MANAGEMENT

The Club shall be managed by a Committee consisting of 
OFFICERS: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary and Match Secretary,legal advisor, coordinators

9. THE PRESIDENT

At all General Meetings of the Club, the President, Chairman or in his absence the Vice-President, or in his absence a member selected by the meeting, shall take the Chair. 


10. BYE LAWS

The management may, from time to time, make, vary or revoke Bye Laws not inconsistent with these Rules for the regulation of the internal affairs of the Club and the conduct of the members. All By Laws shall be binding on members until revoked by the Management Committee .

11. ALTERATION OF THE RULES

The management shall have the power to alter the rules. Any member wishing to make a new rule or alter an existing Rule or Bye Law of the Club, must submit a proposal, in writing, duly seconded, to the Hon. Secretary before 1st August for the following Annual General Meeting.

12. INDOOR MAINTENANCE AND OTHER PRIVATE FUNCTIONS

     Indoor will  be used up to a maximum of 5 days per month, for maintenance or for other functions. The management Committee shall have the power to make arrangements for the holding of matches, exhibitions, tournaments and competitions UP TO  5 DAYS MAX IN A MONTH and to impose a charge for the admission of members of the Club and non-members, and to reserve courts, as may be required on any occasion as the Committee, in their discretion, think proper.

13. EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

The Club is committed to ensuring that equality is incorporated across all aspects of its activities.
The Club respects the rights, dignity, and worth of every person and will treat everyone equally within the context of their sport, regardless of age, ability, gender, race, ethnicity, religious belief, sexuality or social economic status.
The Club is committed to everyone having the right to enjoy their sport in an environment free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse.
The Club will deal with any incidence of discriminatory seriously in accordance with rule 14 Misconduct.


 14. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR MEMBERS

As a member of the Club you are expected to abide by the following code of conduct.
All members must play within the laws of the game and respect all officials and their decisions.
All members must follow the rules of the Club at all times.
All members must show respect for other players in the Club and opponents.
All members should keep to agreed times for matches and competitions, and inform the appropriate person if they are going to be late.
If having been selected for a competition or match, a member is required to withdraw, they must inform the appropriate person immediately.
All members must wear appropriate badminton sports clothing for club sessions, matches and competitions.
All members must pay any membership, match or tournament fees promptly or by the due date.
Members are not permitted to smoke, consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the Club premises or whilst representing the Club.
Members should not make defamatory remarks about the Club or the organisation of the Club to other members or members of other clubs.
Members should attend a club night representative of their standard or be willing to play within the spirit of the Club night if attending a lower standard night.
Members should not swear or shout excessively during play.The indoor will be open from 6 am to 10 pm .No flood lights are allowed during day hours except for the VIP members.
It is forbidden to discuss women, politics, religion and race or any sensitive social issue within the club premises, which may lead to any kind of provocation or ill feeling among a select social group, caste or community.

 15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY : 

 The owner of the club is having the right to  control, employ, dispose of, and bequeath land, capital, and other forms of property at any point of time. The membership charges, subscribtion charges and usage charges are non refundable.
 No Vested Rights of Members. No Member, incorporate, director or officer of the Club shall thereby have any vested right, interest, or privilege of, in, or to the assets, functions, affairs, or franchises of the Club. Furthermore, no member of the Club shall have any right, title, or interest in or to the whole or any part of the assets of the Club, and no member shall be entitled to either the whole or any part of such assets in the event of the termination of such member’s membership in the Club for any reason.Officers /management members shall not be paid for their services to the Club. The club is not having any commitment to renew the memberships.


16. BADMINTON CLUB - BYE LAWS,ENTRANCE FEES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

As determined by the Club Committee.

17. COURT FEES

Court fees, if applicable, shall be due at every playing session at the rate nominated by the Club committee. Fees must be paid before commencing play.

18. USE OF COURTS

  Playing time on the courts must be equally shared asper club rules. When all the courts are in use or other members are waiting to play, neither singles nor consecutive games may be played.  Only VIP and Golden members are allowed to play in reserved court. 

  The members are allowed to use only their courts during their playing hours. The Maintenance /Private days of a month will be intimated through the notice board. The private days/Maintenance days are limited to 5 days in a month,in other words only 25 days will be available for playing or using indoor stadium.

MATCHES AND TOURNAMENTS, ETC.

The Committee shall have the power to make arrangements for the holding of matches, exhibitions, tournaments and competitions UP TO  5 DAYS MAX IN A MONTH and to impose a charge for the admission of members of the Club and non-members, and to reserve courts, as may be required on any occasion as the Committee, in their discretion, think proper.
No member or visitor shall be allowed on the courts unless suitably attired. Appropriate sports wear must always be worn together with suitable footwear, i.e. non-marking badminton shoes without heels.
The Committee shall have the power to hire out the Hall to schools, clubs and other organisations at any time, ensuring that wherever possible it does not impact Club nights.





SHUTTLECOCKS

Shuttlecocks are not provided by the Club. Each player must provide shuttles in playable condition.

VISITORS

A visitor may be brought to the Club by a member or attend by themselves and for that visit, a fee, determined by the management, is chargeable. The name of the visitor and, if applicable, the member must be recorded BEFORE the visitor is permitted to enter.
Animals are not allowed in the Badminton Hall premises.

SMOKING

Smoking is NOT permitted in the Badminton Hall premises.

VACATING THE BADMINTON HALL

The last member to leave the Badminton Hall premises must ensure that all heating and lighting is switched off and the door is locked.

TIDINESS

Members and visitors are responsible for the tidiness of the Badminton Hall at all times.

LOCKER FACILITY

Members are  allowed to use safe lockers on a nominal fee.

LOST PROPERTY
Lost property should be handed to the Club Committee Members. Details will be posted on the notice board in the Badminton Hall.
